Angela Rae Hawkins

Angela Rae Burton Hawkins, 52, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center. 

She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on January 12, 1971.  The daughter of Forest and Elizabeth Jones Burton. 

Angie was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting, reading, watching television and spending time with her beloved family. 

Survivors include her parents, Forest and Elizabeth Burton, her husband, William R. Hawkins, two sons, William Lee Cody Hawkins and Jeremy Alex Clay Hawkins all of Owingsville, her granddaughter, Sarah Kruger, one brother, Randy Burton (Tempie) of Mt. Sterling, three special nieces, Keisha Staton and Emma Burton of Mt. Sterling and Jessica Damron of Owingsville, one nephew Jessie Burton of Lexington, Kentucky and her mother in law, Juelda Alexander. 

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Hedricks Cemetery in Salt Lick, Kentucky with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating. 

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville. 

In place of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
