Barbara Clark

Barbara Clark, 82, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Pioneer Trace Rehabilitation Facility in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.

She was born in Bath County, Kentucky on September 30, 1939 to the late Charlie Clark and Lottie Henry Clark.

Barb was a kind soft spoken person who enjoyed word search puzzles, tending to her flowers, listening to gospel music, visiting family and friends and sitting on the front porch on warm sunny days.  You would often see her loafing at the Town and Country in Owingsville, and she would often stay for several hours visiting with her close friends. She was also a member of the Preston First Church of God and loved her church family dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Clark, two brothers; Billy Clark and Archie Cassity, two sisters; Marie Spencer and Bonnie Skaggs and special friends; Willard Johnson and Kathy Davis.

Survivors include her son, Rick Clark (Dana) of Preston, Kentucky, four grandchildren; Paige Clark of Preston, Haley Clark of Olive Hill, Billy Joe Duncan Carter of Richmond, Kentucky and Shalyn Carter of Louisville, Kentucky, special nieces; Paula Carter (Tony) Olive Hill, Shelia Boyles (Rick) of Grayson, Kentucky, Chrissy Mullins (Paul) of Morehead, Patty Alsept of Berea and special nephew, Tim Highley (Lorria) of Preston and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.

Burial will follow at the Kendall Springs Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday.

Pallbearers include; Bobby Davis, Tony Carter, Billy Joe Carter, Paul Mullins, Rick Boyles and Tim Highley.

Honorary Pallbearers include all the nieces and nephews.
