Mrs. Betty Jean Henderson, 83, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 surrounded by her family at the Ridgeway Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Owingsville.
She was born March 6, 1936 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Hoyt & Jessie Denton Gray.
Betty was a Homemaker who attended the Hope First Church of God. She enjoyed tending to flowers, reading her Bible and traveling. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, H.C. Gray.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, James "Jimmy" Henderson, three daughters, Pam Reffitt, Tytina Donaldson (Greg) and Nikki Henderson all of Mt. Sterling, two sons Greg Henderson (Junie) of Owingsville and Rodney Henderson, three grandchildren, Brandon Reffitt (Christy), Christina Henderson and Gregory Henderson (Kerri) and one great grandchild, Cole Reffitt. Survivors also include her sister, Kaye Buckler of Owingsville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Billy Harmon & Pastor Glenn Sizemore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery at Bethel.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 5 - 8 P.M. Monday, July 8, 2019.
Pallbearers will include Greg Henderson, Greg Donaldson, Gregory Henderson, Gary Henderson and Brandon Reffitt.
Honorary Pallbearers will include Christina Henderson and all the staff at the Ridgeway Nursing Home.
