Buel Richardson Sr.

Mr. Buel C. Richardson Sr., 68 of Owingsville passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at his home after a brief illness.
He was born on September 3, 1949 in Irvine Kentucky to the late Gilbert and Emerine McIntosh Richardson.
Buel was retired he worked most of his life as a mechanic. He was a Harley Motorcycle Enthusiast who enjoyed playing cards shooting pool.His church preference was The Church of God.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his step daughter Kimberly Dawn,stepson Billy Ray Purvis, one sister Emma King ,two brothers in law Gene Sparks and Ancil King, two sisters in law Carol Richardson and Judy Little, three nieces Tammy Stidham ,Regina King Fryman and Vicky Richardson , daughter in law Robin Coyle, a son in law Scott Fugate and special aunt Eddie May.
Survivors include his wife Glenda McKee Richardson, one son Buel C. Richardson Jr. and Susan of Carlisle, one daughter Shannon Fugate of Paris, one stepson Jimmy Lee Purvis and Amanda of Jeffersonville, two stepdaughters Kristina Purvis Jones and Scotty of Morehead, and Cindy Shields and Phillip of Bath County, three sisters Ethel Sparks of Carlisle, Pearl Powell and husband Tommy of Irvine, Ora Hall and husband Earl of Cynthiana, four brothers Eddie Richardson and wife Sue of Irvine, Johnny Richardson of Irvine, Wayne Richardson and wife Sandra of Paris and Troy Richardson of Frankfort. Survivors also include his grandchildren Brittany Richardson, Angel (Smiley)Richardson, Zachary Richardson, Emily (Lou Lou) Fugate, Riley House, William Jones, James Jones, Kristin Stacey and Brianna Fugate, five great grandchildren Kingston Shaw, Dylan McGuire, Zayden Olding, Braylin Olding ,Coltan Johnson Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews and life long friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday August 15, 2018 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the Grey Cemetery in Irvine.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home will be after 5 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will include Zachary Richardson, Gilbert Richardson Jr., Jimmy Presley, David Stidham, Adrian Link, Harold Richardson, David Cook and Cameron Richardson
