Mrs. Carolyn Sue Stone Ingram, 68 of Olympia, passed away Thursday morning in the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born December 16, 1950 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late J.S. "Gabby" and Norma McCarty Stone.

Carolyn was a former employee of the Owingsville First Church of God Daycare, the Charlie Brown Daycare, the former Keal-Bromagen-Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville and was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of the Blevins Valley Christian Church and enjoyed, crocheting, writing, cooking, reading, watching her favorite television shows and spending time with her family,  especially her grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Becraft.

Survivors include her husband, Pastor Russell M. Ingram who she married on October 23, 1971. One son Russell Morgan Ingram and his wife Angel  and one daughter, Cheryl Ingram Hoover and her husband Rodney all of Olympia. One sister, Judy Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky.  Seven grandchildren; Haley Lowe Whisenhunt (Zachary), Christopher Ingram (Jasmine Jones), Matthew Ingram, Morgan Ingram, Tyler White, Brooklyn Gregory and Bri Gregory.  One great-grandson Korbin Ingram. Several other relatives, church family, a host of friends and her dog "Buddy" who will miss her too.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Les Ingram and Bro. Bruce Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oldfield Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Chris Ingram, Matthew Ingram, Dustin Johnson, Sammy Purvis, Harold Copher, Jamie Becraft and Kenny Purvis. Honorary bearers will be Haley Whisenhunt, Tyler White, Brooklyn Gregory, Bri Gregory and Montana Thompson.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all arrangements for Mrs. Carolyn Sue Stone Ingram.
