Charles Tingle, Jr.

Mr. Charles Larry Tingle, Jr., 55, of Owingsville, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

He was born on August 17, 1961.

Mr. Tingle had worked for East Kentucky Power for 35 years as a construction project manager.

He was a member of the Heritage Christian Church in Mt. Sterling.

Charles was an avid rabbit hunter and he enjoyed U.K. ballgames, traveling and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Belinda Anderson Tingle, whom he married on May 1, 1982, one daughter, Christy (Nick) Shaw of Owingsville, two brothers, Lonnie Tingle of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Jeff (Cindy) Tingle of Vevay, Indiana, one sister, Janice Anderson of Owingsville, two granddaughters, Abigail Grace Shaw and Madison Clay Shaw and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also, friends and co-workers at East Kentucky Power and his hospice nurse Jessi Gulley who were like extended family members to him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 17, 2017 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Chris Shaw, Rev. Lowell Rice and Brother Randy Hawkins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Earl Bradley, Jimmy Bradley, Wilson Harmon, Gary Rose, Eugene Miller, Mike Fannin, Del Anderson and Jason Anderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Morris, Mark Brewer, Matt Clark, Patrick Bishoff, Kerry Howard, Craig Johnson, Brad Young and Phillip Berry, His East Kentucky Power Co-Workers.
