Chester Wood "Wool" Ginter, 90, of Salt Lick, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.
He was born in Bath County on December 9, 1931. The son of the late Betty Ginter.
Chester was a hardworking man and a devoted husband who enjoyed fishing, collecting guns, watching westerns on television and spending time with his dogs.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha Ginter.
Survivors include his daughter, Dottie Ginter Hite (Walter) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Angie Bell (David) of Salt Lick, Cody Donathan (Miranda) of Portland, Indiana and Melissa Krieg (Brad) of Dunkirk, Indiana, one sister, Mayme Crump of Owingsville, fourteen great grandchildren, Irik, Aiden, Katie, Kinley, Keelei, Kendrick, Joshua, Kelton (Sabrina), Mia, Kaden, Jayda, Liam, Gemma, Anastasia and one niece, Betty Ann Bussell (Roy) of Flemingsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ginter Family Cemetery in Preston, Kentucky.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Thursday.
Pallbearers include Danny Wright, Hunter Holbert, David Bell, Lee Ison, Walter Hite and Harvey Stapleton.
