Christopher Lyons

Mr. Christopher Paul Lyons, 44, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away suddenly Monday afternoon, April 22, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on February 15, 1975, the son of Joyce Wallace Lyons and the late Charles  "Charley" Lyons.

Chris was a graduate of  Bath County High School Class of 1993.  He was an employee of Bourbon Limestone in Paris, Kentucky for 23 years where he worked as a stone crusher.  He was currently working as a heavy equipment operator for Hinkle Construction Company.

Like his father, Chris enjoyed playing music. Over the years the two of them stood side by side performing with a local band.  He also enjoyed golfing, reading, watching the Game of Thrones television series and especially caring for his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles "Charley" Lyons who passed away on April 22, 2018.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce Wallace Lyons of Owingsville and his sister, Brooke A. Lyons of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 25, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Dr. Sean Bailey officiating.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is after 2:00 P.M. Thursday.
