Cinda Kaye (Swartz) Stewart, 57, of Olympia, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 5, 1965, to the late Ray Swartz and Deloris Dunn Swartz.
Cinda preferred being outdoors if possible; her favorite things were deer season, football season, and fishing, all of which were improved by the company of good friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daryll Stewart, her companion Elgin Hawkins, and one brother, Jerry Swartz.
She leaves behind her daughters and found family, as she had a lifelong habit of mothering her daughters’ friends (as well as anyone else in need). Survivors include her daughters Krystal Landsaw (Clifford) of Morehead and Sierra Mount (Dakota) of Lexington, as well as her children of the heart: Derek Butcher, Mariah Abner, Samantha Demaline, Keagan Stone, Shawana Wolfenbarger, Autumn Manning, Scott Curtis, Jesse Shrout, Ashley Catron, and Aaron Gose.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to St. Claire Hospice, the Markey Cancer Center, and to Dr. Joseph Valentino.
