Donna Byrd

Mrs. Donna Louella Pelfrey Byrd, 76 of Owingsville passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester, Kentucky.

She was born in New Boston, Ohio on December 6, 1942, to the late Warren and Loreada Stephens Pelfrey.

Donna was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, quilting, gardening, knitting, painting, drawing, crocheting, woodwork and spending time with her family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Levi Merle Byrd and a grandson, Jesse Stamper.

Survivors include one son, Dean Byrd and his wife, Robin of West Carrollton, Ohio, one daughter, Tracey Stamper and her husband, Donnie of Lawton, one sister, Sue Hopkins and her husband, Don of Brodhead, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Michael, Jarred, Breanna and Chris, two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Karina and a special friend, Don Copher of Owingsville. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Kendall Springs Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
