Donna McVey

Donna Watson McVey,  68 of Olympia, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home in Olympia after an extended illness. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on February 25, 1953 to the late Estill and Nellie Amyx Watson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Donna Kay McVey and a brother Wayne Watson.

Donna was a Certified Nursing Assistant having worked at both Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owingsville and Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling. Donna enjoyed time with her family, playing bingo, watching television and playing on her tablet.

Survivors include her husband, Robin McVey, Sr., one son, Robin McVey, Jr. of Owingsville. two daughters; Christina (Daniel) Jackson of Owingsville and Rebecca (Abram) Leach of Olympia. Three brothers; Timmy Watson of Ohio, Billy Watson of Greenfield, Ohio and Jimmy (Wanda) Watson of Mt. Sterling.  Three sisters; Theresa Watson of Ohio, Patty (Scott) Bailey of Mt. Sterling, Brenda Watson of Lexington and a sister-in-law, Jackie Watson of Bethel. Three grandchildren; Airianna (Austin Lewis) Leach, Gabriella (Jake) Robertson and Chance Leach. Two step-grandchildren; Nathaniel Brown and Jeremiah Brown.  Two great-grandchildren; Alana Robertson and Remmi Leach. Also, several other relatives and friends.

At her request there will be no services or visitation.

Michael R. Gray Funeral Home, 89 Slate Avenue, Owingsville, Kentucky has been entrusted with the arrangements for Donna Watson McVey.
