Earl "Hoss" Everman

Earl Dewayne "Hoss" Everman, age 54 of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday evening February 7, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital-Main in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on July 18, 1963 to the late Earl and Edna Marie McCarty Everman.

"Hoss" regularly attended the Owingsville First Church of God and was a self-employed handyman who participated in many jobs throughout the community such as mowing lawns, working in tobacco, garbage removal and all sorts of other odd jobs. He was a well known and cherished figure in the Owingsville community and will be sorely missed.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Everman.

Survivors include two brothers, Harmon Lacy Everman and wife, Sheila of Owingsville, John Barry Staton and wife, Emily of Owingsville, three sisters, Brenda Davis of Arcadia, Florida, Janice Pruitt of Sharpsburg and Rossetti Hatfield and husband, Jimmy of Flemingsburg, nieces and nephews Brandon, Kayla, Candice, Jason, Dana, Tamara, Jerry Wayne, Chris, Samantha, Breanna, and Austin and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery at Bethel.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Hawkins, Randy Denton, Willie Staton, Chris Hardin, Doug Toy, Dennis Thomas, Rogie Coyle and Andrew Owens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Hunt, Harold Wayne Hunt, E. H. Snedegar, J. B. Snedegar, Ken Conatser and Nephews.
