Elsie Faye Wilson

ELSIE “FAYE” WILSON, 83, of Mt. Sterling, KY, wife of the late Charles Herbert Wilson, passed away at her home on October 17th, 2023. She was born August 2, 1940, in Rowan County, KY to the late George Harvey Stiddom and Lou Ella Stiddom. 

She is survived by her Sons; Charles (Ann) Wilson, Mt. Sterling, KY, Roy (Lena) Wilson, Owingsville, KY; Eddie (Reva Lynn) Wilson, Owingsville, KY; Terry (Chelsea) Wilson, Owingsville, KY; Daughter, Kim (Ben) Redmon, Winchester, KY and Daughter-In-Law, Linda “Kay” Wilson, Owingsville, KY; 17 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Sister, Shirley Short; Sister-In-Law, Maryetta Maze; Special Friends, Connie Wright and Rhonda Crouch. 

She is preceded in death by her loving Husband of 48 years, Charles Wilson; Son, Ronnie Wilson; Infant Granddaughter, Kelsey Wilson; Brothers, Jerry Stiddom and Joe Stiddom. 

Faye was a dedicated mother and wife. She treasured all of her children and loved them very much. She will always be remembered for her caring nature, humbleness and such a forgiving heart. Throughout her life Faye enjoyed canning, raising gardens, planting flowers, feeding birds and squirrels and enjoying the simple life. 

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00PM, Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville, KY. 

Burial will follow at the Ginter Cemetery, Leatherwood Road, Menifee County, KY. 

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Sunday. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Wilson, Bryan Wilson, Jesse Wilson, Joe Wilson, Lukas Wilson, Logan Redmon and Hunter Redmon. Honorary pallbearers will be Trina Moore, Jenny Ronan, Becky Wilson, Lindsey Highley and Lance Gray.

Special thanks to the St. Claire Hospice doctors, nurses, pastor and social worker for all of your care, companionship, fellowship, and love that you have shown our mother. She cared very much for each of you.
