Mrs. Evelyn Delores Rogers Morton 85 of Owingsville passed away Friday evening at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Bath County, Kentucky on March 13, 1935 to the late Davey and Edwa Sorrell Rogers.
Mrs. Morton was a member of the End Time Harvest Church in Morehead and was a former member of the Homemakers Club.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, music, cooking and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Glenn Morton in 1987, one son, Rocky Earl Morton and two brothers, Jessie Lee Rogers and Irvin Scott (Brownie) Rogers.
Survivors include one son, Ruston Glenn Morton of Owingsville. Four daughters: Robin Donithan and her husband Garney, Ranonda Moore, Rori McCarty and her husband Scott all of Owingsville and Roxanne Moore Godman of Flemingsburg. Fourteen grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be conducted Monday, April 6, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Tracy Fannin officiating.
