Gayle Crouch

Gayle B. Crouch, 77, of Bethel, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at her home.

She was born on February 4, 1945.  The daughter of the late Gaylord and Robin Belcher Crouch.

Gayle spent her life in service of education.  She retired from teaching after thirty years of service and went on to become a member of the Bath County School Board for eight years.  She was always quick to let her opinions be known and stood up for what she believed was right for the children.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and watching UK basketball.  Some of her best times were spent with her beloved aunt Carolin B. Crouch and also spoiling the Roussos boys in which she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special uncle, Ralph Crouch.

Survivors include her aunt Carolin B. Crouch of Bethel.  Several family members who were very close to her were; Shannon Brashear (Johnny) of Olympia, Kentucky, Chase Roussos, Braden Roussos, Preston Roussos, Mallory Brashear, Montana Brashear and other special family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice and Pastor Richard Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Longview Cemetery in Bethel.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday.

Pallbearers include; Chase Roussos, Braden Roussos, Preston Roussos, Montana Brashear, Bobby Jones and Tony Belcher.

Honorary pallbearers include; Johnny Crouch, Elwood Spence, Debbie Gulley, Janie Jones, Nancy Hutchinson, Barbara Boyd, Mallory Brashear and Jane Russell Hansbury.
