Gene Anderson

Gene Lacy Anderson, 62, of Sharpsburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday June 3, 2020 at his residence.

He was born  April 27, 1958 in Rowan County to the late Frankie & Loretta Toy Anderson.

Gene was a retired farmer and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and word carving.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Roger Anderson.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Gilliam and her husband William of Garrison, Kentucky, his longtime girlfriend, Patricia Nealis of Sharpsburg, Bridget Brooks of Lexington who he thought of as a daughter.  Two brothers; Paul Anderson and Bimbo Anderson both of Owingsville. One sister, Carol Sue Ginter of Owingsville, Kentucky, Two friends who he considered to be his sisters; Dorothy Brooks and Marie Little and her husband Arl of Sharpsburg. One nephew, Danny Ginter and Six grandchildren.

At his request no funeral services will be conducted.
