Mr. Gerald A. Farmer, 76, of Winchester, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 10, 1943 to the late Robert J. Farmer and Dorothy Isabelle Schultz Farmer. He was raised by Mazie Schultz.

Gerald was a truck driver for Ryder Integrated Logistics. He enjoyed fishing, reading his bible and spending time with his beloved family. He also attended the Ark of Mercy Church of God in Winchester.

Survivors include his wife Ashley Farmer, one son, Scott Farmer (Monica Lynn), two step-sons, Randy Conkright and Donnie Hartley, one step-daughter, Sandy Conkright, four grandchildren, MiKenzie Farmer, E.J. Farmer, Cody Bailey and Justin Bailey, two great grandchildren, Amelia Rose Bailey and Alysia Bailey.

Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by the state, a private family only graveside service will be held Monday, April 6, 2020 at the Boonesboro Cemetery in Winchester with Pastor Janice Claypool officiating.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Mr. Gerald A. Farmer.
