Hal Douglas Parks, 68 of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Friday morning, July 24, 2020 at the St. Joseph, Mt. Sterling Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on November 28, 1951 to the late Robert and Joann Highley Parks Ramey.
Hal was retired from the Senco Company where he had worked in management. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting and painting. He was of the Christian faith and was a graduate of Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio where he received his Bachelor's degree and had also attended the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Lowell Parks.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Crouch Parks, one son, Richard Douglas Parks of Frenchburg, Kentucky. One brother, Robin Wesley Parks (Kathy) of Ohio. Four sisters; Rhonda Parks of Maysville, Kentucky, Charlotte Gwen Parks and Jennifer Parks both of Raytown, Missouri and Kim Parks Baker of Ohio. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
At his request private family services will be conducted with interment in the Highley Family Cemetery.
