Hochstetler Children

Five Amish children died April 29, 2020 when the buggy they were in was swept away in a swollen creek near their home.

They were the children of Levi and Susie Hochstetler of Adams Road in the Peasticks Community of Bath County

The children; Emma Hochstetler, age 12, Elizabeth Hochstetler, age 6, Nancy Hochstetler, age 4, Levi Hochstetler, age 2 and Rudy Hochstetler, age 1.

They are survived by their parents and six other siblings.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the family home.

They were all laid to rest together in the Slate Bend Amish Community Cemetery in Peasticks.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville assisted the family with arrangements.
