Irene Parks Green Wills, 83, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
She was born May 30, 1936 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Goble & Cordy Crockett Parks.
Irene attended the Preston First Church of God. She worked many years as a cook at the Bath County High School. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of children, doing word puzzles and making her delicious homemade cream candy.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband Asa Lewis Green, one brother, Goble Jr. Parks, two sisters, Hazel Parks and Lucille Reffitt and her beloved great granddaughter, Aria Paris Blanton.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Wills, two sons, Jeff Green (Joyce) of Frenchburg and Todd Green (Jenia DIxon) of Owingsville, two sisters, Betty Dyer (Bob) of Morehead and Eunice Johnson of Lexington, four grandchildren, Laura Blanton, Justin Maness, Chris Maness and Benjamin Green, four great grandchildren, Hunter, Jacey, Brody and Gage.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 17, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the Kendall Springs Cemetery in Owingsville.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be 6 - 8 P.M. Sunday.
Pallbearers will include Ben Green, Chris Maness, Tim Parks, Roger Reffitt, Gary West and Matt Strain.
