Jack Purvis

Jack Thomas "Red" Purvis, 57, of Sharpsburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on November 9, 1964.  The son of Gustava Bashford Purvis and the late Lum Purvis.

Red enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Frances Hatfield Purvis, his mother, Gustava Purvis, two daughters; Jacquelin Purvis and Stacy Hatfield, three brothers; George Purvis (Patricia), Johnny Purvis (Patty), Ricky Purvis (Betty) and one sister, Lisa McClain (Gary), special friend, Steve Payne all of Sharpsburg and several other family members.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home at 89 Slate Ave. Owingsville, Kentucky 40360 with Bro. Fred Crump officiating.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home will be from 12 - 2PM Tuesday.
