James "Ronnie" Crouch Sr.

James Ronald "Ronnie" Crouch, 81, of Salt Lick, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Bath County, Kentucky on May 22, 1942, to the late James Estill Crouch and Elsie Wright Crouch.

One of Ronnie's greatest passions was dancing. With his nimble feet and lively spirit, he effortlessly glided across the dance floor, leaving a trail of admiration in his wake. His love for dancing brought joy not only to himself but also to those who shared the dance floor with him.

In addition to dancing, Ronnie found solace in other activities such as coon hunting and fishing. Whether he was navigating the woods or casting his line into calm waters, Ronnie found tranquility in these moments.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, James "Jamie" Ronald Crouch Jr., a great-granddaughter, Millie Marie Crouch, one brother, Darrell Crouch, and two sisters, Maryetta Withrow, and Shirley Ann Crouch.

His survivors include one daughter, Julie Crouch Reed (Thomas) of Morehead, Kentucky, and one son, Brandon Conley of Salt Lick, Kentucky. His two brothers Leonard Dean Crouch (Donna) of Olympia, Kentucky, and Darvin Wayne Crouch of Salt Lick, Kentucky. Ronnie also leaves behind three sisters: Roma Gabberd, Ora Lee Adkins both of Salt Lick, Kentucky, and Debbie Crouch (Ralph) of Olympia Kentucky, as well as two grandchildren, Tony Crouch (Shelby) and Sheila Marie Crouch (Daniel Depew) who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be on Thursday, November 2nd from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.

Burial will follow at the Crouch Cemetery at 6191 S HWY 36, Salt Lick, Kentucky 40371.
