Judy Wright

Mrs. Judy Gayle Johnson Wright, 68, of Owingsville, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead after suffering an apparent heart attack.
She was born on February 3, 1947 in Bath County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Welburn and Margaret Shrout Johnson.
Mrs. Wright was a retired hairdresser.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, where she had served as pianist.
Judy was an Elvis fan and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, playing the piano, crocheting and crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wright, who passed away on July 25, 2014.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Gayle Wright of Lexington, two brothers, Lonnie (Beverly) Johnson of Lexington and Billy (Mary Karen) Johnson of Owingsville, one sister, Nell (Donnie) Manley of Sharpsburg and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.
Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 12:00 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Johnson, Will Johnson, Barry Johnson, Timmy Manley, Lonnie Johnson and Billy Johnson.
