Kevin Scott Dailey, aged 52, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on September 13, 1971, in Montgomery County. The son of Linda Adams and Arthur Dailey Kevin’s professional life was marked by his dedication hard work, serving as a supervisor for Greif and later as a foreman for The Walker Company in Mt. Sterling.

Outside of his career, Kevin was a man of many passions. He cherished the moments spent hunting and fishing, and he found joy in attending bluegrass festivals. Cooking was another beloved activity, especially when it involved creating meals to share with family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family who were the light of his life.

Preceding Kevin in death were his father, Arthur Dailey, along with his maternal grandparents, Harold and Louis Perry, and his paternal grandparents, Arthur Lee Dailey and Mary Lee Dailey.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Linda Adams, and stepfather, Glendale Adams, both of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by his two sons, Michael Dailey (Rebecca) of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Justin Dailey of Somerset, Kentucky and two grandchildren.  Additionally, he leaves behind two brothers, Tommy Dailey (Carrie) of Mt. Sterling and Timmy Dailey (Bonnie) of Owingsville.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Roy Stacy officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Longview Cemetery in Bethel, Kentucky. 

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Wednesday. 

Pallbearers include Tommy Dailey, Tim Dailey, Jimmy Allen Perry, Alvin Wayne Stamper, James Dailey, Doug Dailey, Randy Hayes and David Rose.

Honorary pallbearers include Austin Allen Perry, Michael Dailey, Justin Dailey, Josh Miles and Aiden Scott Dailey.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements is handling all the arrangements for Kevin Dailey.
