Lawrence "Bud" Maxson
February 9, 1946 — December 19, 2016
Lawrence Vernon “Bud” Maxson, 70, of Olympia, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born on February 9, 1946 in Bremen, Indiana, a son of Lloyd and Clara Sherland Maxson.
Bud had worked as a security guard for Heilig-Myers and had also worked for Cutter Home Builders.
He attended the City of Refuge Church and enjoyed carpentry work, woodworking and dancing.
Survivors include his parents, Lloyd and Clara Sherland Maxson of Olympia, one daughter, Lisa Ann Scott of Walkerton, Indiana, two sisters, Laura Lucille Dever of Olympia and Doris Irene Ganshorn of Plymouth, Indiana, two granddaughters, Brandy Gayheart and Miranda Gayheart, two great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
At his request, there was no visitation or services.
The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville cared for all arrangements.
