Lois Burton

Lois Evlyn Burton, 75, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at her home.

She was born on December 10, 1945 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Lewis Minix and Erie Rudd Minix.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Mudlick First Church of God. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bobby Burton who passed away October 8, 2003.

Survivors include, two daughters; Lesa Robinson (Jeff) of Bethel, Kentucky and Cynthia Roberson (Clifton) of Olympia, Kentucky, two sons; Robert Burton and Rondell Burton both of Salt Lick, Kentucky. Fifteen grandchildren: Jennifer Amburgey, Danny Ross, Chris Roberson, Justin Roberson, Travis Roberson, Ashley Burton, Denisha Burton, Carlee Burton, Colby Burton, Maverick Burton, Jeremiah Robinson, Abbigayle Robinson, Noah Robinson, Isaiah Robinson and Christy Goode. Six great grandchildren: Kayla, Ava, Julian, Mallory, Kennadi, Asia, Cameron and Case.  Survivors also include three sisters; Annette Standifer (Cecil) of Owingsville, Betty Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky and Emmogene Vancamp of North Judson, Indiana and one brother Dairel Minix (Sue) of Salyersville.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the  Mudlick First Church of God in Olympia with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hedricks Cemetery in Salt Lick.

Visitation at the Mudlick  First Church of God will be from 6 - 9 PM Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Danny Ross, Chris Roberson, Justin Roberson, Travis Roberson, Michael Amburgey and Nathan Ballard.

Honorary pallbearers are Colby Burton and Chad Hostetler.
