Mrs. Louise Bowles Perry, 91, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Sunday morning March 3, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born May 10, 1927 in Bath County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lum Bowles and Eliza Hornback Bowles.
Louise was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who dearly loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being outside working in the garden, taking walks on her farm and working crossword puzzles. She was a passionate U.K. Wildcats fan and loved the WLJC gospel channel on TV.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Tobe Perry, two sons, Jimmy Perry and Harold Rocky Perry, two daughters, Sue Ann Perry Wilson and Mimi Dell Perry.
Survivors include two children, Linda Adams (Glendale) of Mt. Sterling, Ky. and Carl "Boo" Perry (Lisa) of Owingsville, Ky. Survivors also include nineteen grandchildren, fifty great -grand children and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Roy Stacy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery in Bethel.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Pallbearers include, Jason Perry, Jimmy Perry, Tommy Dailey, Scotty Dailey, Timmy Dailey, Rocky Lane Perry and Jessie Perry.
Honorary Pallbearers are Shawn Baker and Christopher Perry.
The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville, is handling all the arrangements for Mrs. Louise Perry.
