Marilyn Walters

Marilyn "Kay" Walters, 73, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at her home.

She was born on April 13, 1948 in Mt. Sterling to the late Grover Cleveland Green and Martha Green Ballard.

Kay was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, going to church and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Austin Revee Walters, one son, Anthony Austin Walters, four brothers; Paul Green, Don Green, Joe Green, and Mike Green, one sister, Netty Green.

Survivors include three daughters; Missy Moore (Terry) of Mt. Sterling, Patty Edger (Rick) of Means, Kentucky and Beverly Lawhorn (Chuck) of Sarasota, Florida and one son, Matthew Walters of Mt. Sterling, three stepchildren; Julie Caldwell, Jeanette Donald both of Mt. Sterling and Janice Rawlings (Dean) of Means, Kentucky, one brother, G.C. Green (Lynn) of Mt. Sterling, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home at 89 Slate Ave. Owingsville, Kentucky 40360 with Pastor Tommy Evans officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fortune Cemetery in Mt. Sterling.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Monday.
