Neva May

Neva Hatfield May, 49, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 17, 1973.  The daughter of Patricia Blankenship and the late Llyod Thacker.

Neva was known to be a hard worker.  When she wasn't caring for her family and working outside, She enjoyed riding horses, four wheelers, and visiting with loved ones.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Daryl Blankenship.

Survivors include her mother Patricia Blankenship, her husband Michael "Bud" May, two daughters Shawnda Hatfield of Belfry, Kentucky and Lorrie Armitage (Cody) of Oympia, one brother Mitchell Thacker of Owingsville, four sisters Crystal Tidwell, Sara Toney (John) both of Owingsville,  Anita Smith (Tilden) of Belfry and Karen Bateman of Phelps, Kentucky, five grandchildren; Jaelyn Thacker, Jocelyn Thacker, Brandon Purvis, Christopher and Virginia Armitage, one nephew, Sean Dingess and eight nieces; Mikaela Dingess, Tiffany Becraft, Anita Estepp, Trish Leach, Tilena Smith, Kileigh Thacker, Nicki Sanders and Charlotte Dotson.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2022 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville.

Burial will follow in the Oldfield Cemetery in Olympia.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Thursday.
