Nicholas "Nick" Collins Jones, 50, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at his home. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on June 22, 1973, to the late Josh Jones and Alice Eckart Jones.
He dedicated a significant portion of his life to serving as the Director of Bath County 911, leaving a lasting impact on the community he called home.
Nicholas had a deep love for motorcycles, working on cars, and all things related to drag racing. Whether he was working on engines or enjoying classic TV shows, he approached everything with enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail. However, above all his hobbies and interests, Nick valued his time spent with friends and family the most.
Survivors include his brother, Josh Jay Jones and his wife Carol of Owingsville, his uncle George Eckart of Bantam, Ohio, one nephew Jared Tyler Jones and his niece McKayla Brooke Jones and the many friends who had the pleasure of knowing him.
