Peggy Martin

Mrs. Peggy Sue "Susie" Crump Martin, 60, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Saturday morning, June 1, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 9, 1958 in Mt. Sterling to Mayme Lee Crump & the late Howard Junior Crump.

Susie worked as a clerk at Creech's Convenient store in Camargo.  When she wasn't working at the store she spent her time working on the farm. Her hobbies were going to yard sales,  auctions of any kind, dancing and most of all she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Dean Martin who passed away October 11, 2014.

Survivors include her mother, Mayme Lee Crump of Owingsville, two sons, Larry Dean Martin Jr. (Regina) of Owingsville and Christopher Lee Martin (Samantha Tracy) of Owenton, Ky. one sister, Betty Ann Bussell (Roy) of Flemingsburg, five grandchildren, Tara Lynn Martin, Tabitha Dawn Martin, Colton Dean Martin, Hunter Lee Martin, Alayna Lynne Dartt, one great grandson, Charles Logan Stull and special friend Garry Glenn Crouch of Owingsville.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral in Owingsville with Brother Ron Weaver officiating.

Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery in Bethel.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 5 - 8 P.M Monday.

Pallbearers include Larry Martin, Christopher Martin, Tara Martin, Tabitha Martin, Ronnie Martin, John Martin, Roy Bussell and Scott Bussell

Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Crouch, Shan Corey and David Fryman.
