Rachel Fultz

Rachel Ann Tipton Fultz, 57 of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on August 3, 1964, to the late James lee Hendrix, Sr. and Sadie Ellen Nunn Hendrix.

Rachel enjoyed cooking, music, playing the guitar, fishing, coloring and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Stevie Hendrix, Minnie Dragoo and Beatrice Spencer.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Latrisha) Tipton and Jimmie Tipton, Sr. all of Owingsville. One step-daughter, Paige (Ramsey Finch) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Her siblings, James Lee (Rose) Hendrix, Frances Lawill, Helen Lawill, Brenda (Kenneth) Kirby and Ellie (Dan) Lucas all of Owingsville, Mary (Bobby) Manning of Frenchburg, Kentucky and a special niece Tempie (Randy) Burton of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Angel Tipton, Jimmie Tipton, Jr., Kylella Tipton, Morgan Ingram and Jacob Tipton. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Brother, James Lee Hendrix, III and Brother Mike Ray officiating.

Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery at Bethel.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 11:00 am until the time of services.

Serving as pall bearers will be Randy Burton, Ray Kirby, John Kirby, Jason Spencer, Bill Dragoo and Matt Carpenter. Honorary pall bearers will be Dan Lucas, Matthew Lucas, Blake Kirby and Jeff Conkright.
