Randle D. Moore, 63, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital.
He was born on June 12, 1953 in West Hamlin, West Virginia, a son of the late Raymond Moore and Ethel Harless Moore Smith.
Mr. Moore had worked for Verdan Electric in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a graduate of South High School in Cleveland, was a Boy Scout and attended Ore Mines Church of God and Owingsville United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, who raised him, Rev. Luther Smith, his wife, Roberta Jean Oakley Moore, who passed away on October 7, 2008 and one sister, Monny Lue Moore Blevins.
Survivors include two brothers, Luther Dale Smith (Sandra) of Conway, Arkansas and Arthur Eugene Smith (Benita) of Owingsville, four sisters, Theenia Sue Moore Harless of Ranger, West Virginia, Carmella Lane Moore Martin (Ronald) of Owingsville, Jannet Lee Moore Roth (Gary) of Wadsworth, Ohio and Ginger Smith Williamson Davis (Roger) of Hope, special friend, Nina Oakley and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 4, 2016 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Pastor Damon Byrd and Rev. Mike Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery at Midland.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Smith, Joshua Bowling, Roger Davis, Ron Martin II, Charlie Adkins, Bobby Rhodes, Larry Shrout and Brian Blevins and honorary pallbearer will be Donald Patton.
Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
