Richard Helton Jr.

Richard Lee Helton Jr. 59, of Olympia, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Norton Women's and Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 28, 1963 to the late Richard Lee Helton Sr. and Ruth McQuinn Helton.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed working on and racing vehicles, riding motorcycles and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Helton Hudson.

Survivors include his companion, Paula Ballard, the mother of his children, Jonette Helton of Hamilton, Ohio, three sons, Tyler Helton (Tequila) of Olympia, Nichlos Helton (Samantha) of Dayton, Ohio and Elijah Helton of Middletown, Ohio, two daughters, Tiffany Helton of Franklin, Ohio and Tia Grimm (Jacob) of Trenton, Ohio, two sisters, Iris Klaber (Andy) of Hamilton, Ohio and Ladonna Shelton (Carl) of Annville, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Emily, Serenity, Jamison, Scarlet and Elizabeth.

Services will be conducted at a later date for Richard.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Richard Lee Helton Jr.
