Robert Farrell Jarrett, 90, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 9, 1934, in Unicoi, Tennessee to the late Robert Sherman Jarrett and Rosalee Whitemore Jarrett.  Robert lived a life dedicated to his craft, his family, and his faith.

Robert proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, demonstrating his commitment and dedication to his country. After his service, he returned to his passion for carpentry, where he spent many years bringing dreams to life.  For over 15 years Robert assisted in building many churches all over the country. 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Robert had a deep appreciation for nature. He cherished spending time visiting the mountains and enjoying the lake with his beloved family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Betty Cavanah and Shirley Ruth Jarrett, along with three brothers, Fred, Foy, and Bud Jarrett, and three sisters, Florence Whitehead, Francis Helen Pate, and Edna Crumley. 

He is survived by his three sons, Bob Jarrett (Glena) of Winchester, Kentucky, James Jarrett (Jacqueline) of Mt. Sterling, and Jeff Roberts, one daughter, Gaye Roberts, both from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Robert was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: Jason Jarrett (Sara) of Owingsville, Rodney Roe (Christy), and Angie Roe, both of Paris, Kentucky. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Kaden and Isabella Jarrett, Houston, Hudson, and Harrison Roe, one brother, Frank Jarrett (Ina), and one sister, Sara Edwards (Gary), both of Johnson City, Tennessee.

In Robert's memory, the family will have a celebration of life at a later date. 

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Robert Jarrett.
