Ronald Clay Faudere

Ronald "Ronnie" Clay Faudere, 72, of Owingsville, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on October 9, 1952, in Mt. Serling, Kentucky to the late, Herman Lewis Faudere and Daisy Katherine Hollar Faudere. 

Throughout his career, Ronnie displayed a remarkable work ethic, contributing his skills as a painter at Hobart Corporation, a welder at Texas Eastern, and a private mechanic. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for the outdoors. An avid deer hunter and fisherman, Ronnie found joy in nature. He was also a fan of Nascar and enjoyed cheering for the UK Wildcats.  Ronnie also enjoyed cheering his son, Michael on at local demolition derbies. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Faudere Sr. and Gary Lewis Faudere.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gertie May McIntosh Faudere, their son, Michael Clay Faudere (Linda), two brothers, Rickie Faudere (Patricia), Steve Faudere (Claudette), and one sister, Beverly Munday (Denny), all residing in Owingsville and his beloved cat, Jerry. 

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Lowell Rice officiating.

Burial will follow at the Owingsville Cemetery. 

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025. 

Pallbearers include, Michael Clay Faudere, Jerald Howard, Steve Faudere, Ben Wilson, Joe Anderson and David Jackson. 

Honorary pallbearers include, Jackie McIntosh, Gary McIntosh, Roger Manley, Amanda Dawn Gibbs, Renee Claire, Terra Pergram and Tammy Warren. 

Contributions are suggested to the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville to assist with funeral expenses.
