Stella B. Goldie, 91, of Owingsville, Kentucky went to be with the lord on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. She passed away at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 28, 1931, in Bath County, Kentucky. The daughter to the late Cecil Copher and Ina Mae Thompson Copher.
Stella was a devout member of the Mudlick Church of God. Her family will always cherish their memories of her as a dedicated mother and grandmother. She had a gift in making people feel loved and valued. Stella was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, working crossword puzzles, reading and most of all spending time with her beloved family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Goldie, three children, Terry Goldie, David Goldie and Wilma Goldie, three brothers, Benton, Bill and James Copher, two sisters, Louise Albers and Betty Sue Copher.
Survivors include her four sons, Tom Goldie (Mary), Dean Goldie and John Goldie (Ellen) all of Owingsville and Glen Goldie (Heidi) of Morehead, Kentucky, six daughters, Bonnie Caudill (Junior Ginter) and Stella Withrow of Owingsville, Jenny Goldie and Betty Purvis (Bob) Salt Lick, Kentucky, Wanda Davis (Don) of Mt. Sterling and Marilyn Osborne (Tommy Lytle) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, two sisters, Wanda Allen (Stanley) and Carol Walters both of Mt. Sterling and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Mudlick Church of God in Olympia, Kentucky with Bro. Mark Caldwell officiating.
Burial will follow at the Jackson Cemetery in Owingsville.
Visitation at the Mudlick Church of God will be from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday.
Pallbearers include, Jason Hunt, Mitchell, Charlie, Daniel and Michael Goldie, Austin Crank, Travis Hunt and Rob Purvis.
Honorary pallbearers include, Paul Christopher Preston, Aaron Preston and Billy Hunt.
The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for Stella Goldie.
