William "Bill" Flannery, 49, of Owingsville, passed away Saturday morning January 4, 2020, at his home. He was born on August 25, 1970 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Browning and Daisey Jones Flannery.
Bill was a very giving person who was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a self-employed contractor who enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, collecting knives, riding horses, welding and watching Fox News. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Abundance of Rain Church in Bath County.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Ralph Flannery and one brother in law, Timothy Black.
Survivors include four sons, Joshua Hensley, David Flannery, Anthony Flannery and William Flannery Jr. two daughters, Elizabeth Hensley Hatton (Lincoln) and Hannah Flannery all of Campton, three sisters, Dorothy Black of Louisville, Debbie Bolin (Shawn) of West Liberty and Gina McGonigle (Mike) of Owingsville, one brother, Johnny Flannery of West Liberty, four grandchildren, Kylie Hensley, Bonnie Hensley, Emma Hatton, Brinleigh Hatton and Memphis Hatton who is due to come in May.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Bro. Dennis Flannery officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ezel Cemetery in Ezel, Kentucky.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will include, Floyd Iker, Morton Crouch, Raymond Crouch, Terry Ginter, Jeffery Hardin, Charles "Chew" White and Charlie Anderson.
The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville is caring for all the arrangements for William "Bill" Flannery.
