William Ray “Billy” Bowles, 44, of Bethel, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital.
He was born on July 5, 1972 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a son of Brenda Skaggs and the late William Ray Bowles.
Billy was a construction worker and a farmer.
He enjoyed deer hunting and riding four wheelers.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Nola Bowles and Lonnie and Wanda Skaggs and his father-in-law, Stanley Treadway.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Treadway Bowles of Bethel, one son, Austin Bowles of Bethel, his mother, Brenda Skaggs of Bethel, two brothers, Tony (Pam) Parker of Sharpsburg and Ricky (Tina) Turner of Dayton, Ohio, one sister, Amanda Bowles of Acura, Indiana, his mother-in-law, Susie Treadway of Bethel, eight nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Owingsville with Rev. Roy Stacy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery at Bethel.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Crouch, Timmy McCarty, Jamie McCarty, Ed Bowles, Jimmy Skaggs, Ricky Bussell, Shawn Treadway and Steven Johnson and honorary pallbearers will be Harry Hunt, Ralph Hunt, Hunter Parker, Dustin Parker, Lonnie Donithan and Michael Donithan.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
